Terrific 2s - Ages 2 years
Our program for the independent dance enthusiast! Dance fun for Terrific two-year-olds.  A class for ambitious and self-directed 2 year-olds taught by our most experienced instructor. This is a full term class where children can explore movement and music - great for developing motor skills and coordination.  All dancers will perform in our year-end show in June.

Preschool Dance Explorers- Ages 3-5 years
An introduction to dance for little ones, this class builds coordination and confidence.  Laura Bishop is well-known for her exceptional Preschool classes.  We sing, we Tap, we Ballet, we Jazz - we do it all and it is FUN! Children are taught the basics of Ballet and Tap and introduced to 'baby Jazz'. With emphasis on creative expression, the little dancers learn to march, skip gallop and interpret the music as THEY feel it.  This class is structured to give the parent and dancer a taste of everything.  Developing motor skills is fun when you get to be a dolphin, a pony or a wizard! All preschool dancers learn a Christmas routine to be performed at our December observation week and also learn another dance to perform onstage at our year-end production.

Acrobatic Dance, or acro as it is commonly referred to by dancers and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements.  Often defined by unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, lines and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context.
Acro was a popular style on the Vaudeville stage, and has recently gained popularity with the wide spread success of the contemporary circus productions of Cirque du Soleil.  Main stream media including dance television programs like 'So You Think You Can Dance', 'America's Best Dance Crew' and 'Dance Moms' have further fuelled it's demand in amateur competitive dance and studio settings.Acro is an especially challenging style for dancers to master as training in both dance and acrobatic elements is required.  Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength.
